*Waste management is considered an indispensable crisis in the 21st Century. Still, today land filling is followed as a waste management scheme. Due to the incredible increase in the population, advertence effort should be taken to collect and manage the waste. Together with the Internet of Things (IoT) growth, waste management has become a significant problem. Waste management in metropolitan areas is a daily activity that demands a great workforce and impacts natural, budgetary, efficient, and social elements. Many ways to optimize waste management have been developed, such as utilizing the closest neighbour, colonial optimization, genetic algorithm, and methodologies for optimizing a particulate swarm. IoT has played a prominent role in all real-world applications like environmental monitoring, smart grids, agriculture, health monitoring systems, etc. In this Context, The author will impose IoT in waste management by deploying sensors in the garbage bins, which we termed smart bins. The proposed system uses Routing Protocol for Low Power Networks(RPL) is an IPV6 routing protocol, which is accepted by IETF and standardized for IoT which aims to provide the best efficient route to collect the waste from the smart bins.so that It reduces the time, fuel and human labor.
