*Further Information*
*This paper presents our final semester project for Comp 453, Markup Languages for Dr. George Thiruvathukal. We will explain how we scrapped diamond prices from a diamond comparison shopping webpage and transformed the data using XSLT into our XML markup language, DiamondML. We will then explain how we use SAX to parse the newly formed data in DiamondML to a relational database. Lastly, we will run simple tests to demonstrate the power of XQuery and similarities with SQL. Our presentation on August 3rd will be a combination of a demonstration and an explanation of our research project. Part I*
