*Further Information*

*The Bandung Creative Hub Library has previously utilized a basic application to support its book lending activities; however, the existing system still presents several limitations, including the lack of integrated data management features, a less intuitive user interface, and insufficient validation and transaction control. These limitations hinder the efficiency and accuracy of managing book records, member data, loans, and returns. In response to these challenges, this study aims to design and implement a more comprehensive and structured Book Lending Information System capable of supporting the library’s operational processes more effectively. The system was developed using JavaFX as the application interface and PL/SQL as the database management component, following stages of requirements analysis, system design, prototype construction, and evaluation. The results indicate that the developed system successfully meets the defined functional requirements, offering improved data accuracy, a more user-friendly interface, and consistent transaction processing achieved through PL/SQL procedures. In addition to enhancing the performance of the previous system, this research also opens opportunities for future development, such as barcode integration, mobile application expansion, and more advanced reporting features to further support modern and efficient library management.*
